Really Simple Syndication is an XML-based format for sharing new topics and headlines right at your fingertips. Information is fed through your RSS reader and is delivered directly to your desktop. You can read more about the advantages of using RSS feeds here.

Download an RSS reader
You can start taking advantage of this function by downloading an RSS reader. Many RSS readers are available for download on the Internet, such as Mozilla Thunderbird, Pluck for Windows or Madicon RSS Reader for Lotus Notes.

Find the orange RSS logo
After you have installed the reader, find an orange RSS logo on the IEC site (each section will have one soon) and click on it. << click button for iec e-tech RSS.

Copy the URL
This will bring you to a page like the one on the right. Copy the URL from the address bar (this step may vary depending on what reader you choose).
4.
Add the feed URL
Add the feed URL to your RSS reader.
5.
Congratulations!
You can now have up-to-date IEC topics delivered right to your RSS reader.
