Why a mailing list?

The mailing lists allow you to exchange information between the members of the same group. You will add the e-mail addresses to a mailing list, then send your e-mail to the list, your e-mail is then distributed to all members. This will avoid long e-mail address lists, incorrect addresses, etc.

If you are a TC/SC chairman or secretary and think that a mailing list can help you in your work, please fill in the request and send it by e-mail to your Technical officer at the Central Office.

IEC public mailing lists

The IEC offers a number of useful alert services through its public mailing lists which you may subcribe to:

	Just Published Keep updated on all new IEC publications. Just Published, IEC's email service delivered free of charge to readers' desk twice a month, details all new publications released over the past two weeks and explains their relevance in the market place, thus providing more focused and value-added information. This service is also available on-line.
	IT News You will receive regular information by e-mail as soon as an update is available for: Forms, Templates, IT-Tools guide, Bits & Bytes, Statutes, directives, Kits and compendiums.
	Newdocs You will receive every week the list of new documents on the server. The subscription is open to everyone, although the documents themselves require authorization. You can also access the most recent documents of the server list directly on the web.
	TC News Provides news of specific interest to members of IEC Technical Committees and Subcommittees.
	E-tech The IEC on-line newsletter covers all new developments within the Commission and outside which are of interest to the standardization community and industry. Regular industry interviews look at the impact of IEC standards in the market.
